(VI)-254 pages (foxing in some sections). First edition and first printing of the 107 black figures in-text and 29 off-text plates in colour including the frontispiece. One of fifty numbered copies on large vellum paper, the only large paper.
Unique copy illustrated on the boards and the spine of the binding with three original watercolours illustrating portraits of women, one of which is signed on the first board, and on the false title page a large full-page watercolour illustrating four portraits of women. Volume signed and dedicated "to my friend Georges Decaux".
