La Tour de Nesle, drama in five acts and nine tableaux by F. Gaillarder and A Dumas, first performed in Paris at the theatre de la porte Saint Martin on 29 May 1832. Paris, printed for the Friends of the Books, 1901; large in-8 (28x21 cm), full red morocco binding, boards decorated with a frame of eight gilt fillets and a green morocco listel and spandrels, four-ribbed spine, gilt irons on edges, five gilt fillets and small green mosaic fleurons on counter-plates, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine, first cover illustrated in colour. 214 pages (3pp. list of the society's members). Frontispiece and 34 superb colour compositions in and out of text by Robida, engraved on copper by Bertrand. Unique edition on Marais vellum paper, limited to 115 numbered and nominative copies. Signed binding by Weckesser et ses fils
