ROBIDA (Albert). Around Compiègne in August 1914. Paris, d'Alignan, 1919; in-folio (40x29 cm), leaves, front cover illustrated, publisher's laced folder (soiling and spine missing). Illustrated and signed cover. First edition of this suite of seven captioned etching plates, signed with the letter A in pencil. Text on a double sheet adorned with a vignette, one of the plates entitled "Les Fugitifs" where Albert Robida depicted himself and his family fleeing on a barge from Compiègne in August 1914 (only this plate is not signed in pencil). Edition of 125 copies, this one of 100 on Hollande. (Some edge spotting).
