(Manuscripts, collection of three pieces). [Brinvilliers affair]. Manuscript of 150 folio pages, entitled Relation de la mort de Mad. de B (Brinvilliers) par M. Pirot, docteur de la maison et société de Sorbonne (son confesseur). Handwritten bookplate of the "Collegii Parisiensis Societatis Jésus". Initialed at the desire of the decree of July 5, 1763 (Mesnet). A handwritten note indicates that this rare manuscript was purchased on April 6, 1861, and according to a printed article pasted on the inside back cover of the binding, it belonged successively to M. Moignon, M. de Monmerqué and was purchased by M. Roullier, avocat au Conseil d'Etat, who published a two-volume edition in 1883 with the publisher Lemerre, with the title. "La Marquise de Brinvilliers, récit de ses derniers moments". Bound in a 25-page folio manuscript copy. Question royale et sa décision, by Jean du Verger de Hauranne, abbé de StCyrien. One volume in-folio (36x24 cm), marbled calf (18th century), covers torn off. Ex-libris of M. Roullier.
