Paris, chez la Veuve Duchesne, 1767 four parts in two volumes in-12 (17x10.5 cm), contemporary marbled basane (a little rubbed, restorations to headpieces and corners), ornate ribbed spine, red speckled edges. First volume, XXXVI-251-288 pages, second volume, 300-299 pages (false title and title framed) and six unencumbered leaves, table of personal names. First edition of Restif de la Bretonne's first work, printed in only 2000 copies. Written in the form of an epistolary account of amorous anecdotes.
