Dutch translations of two works by Pedro Mexia (1497-1552), historian and philosopher of the Spanish Renaissance. The first work is a compilation, covering a wide range of subjects: moral reflections, anecdotes and historical essays on the Egyptians, the Templars, astrology, water and precious stones. The second part is a translation of "Los dialogos o coloquois", on cosmology, the sun and the earth, meteors and more.
