COLETTE. - Lot 97
COLETTE.
8 L.A.S. to Roland Dorgelès; 11 pages in-12, in-8 or in-4.
Charming friendly letters, apologizing for being unable to attend the Goncourt meetings due to illness; she talks about her arthritis; she announces the publication of Le Fanal bleu: "It's a rather corny title, but I couldn't find any other". She thanks Hania Dorgelès for a pretty bouquet, "red almost pink, blue almost violet and gold collar", placed in front of her Goncourt cover.
Attached are a l.a.s. from Maurice GOUDEKET thanking Dorgelès for his speech at Colette's funeral, and another l.a.s. (1957); plus miscellaneous documents.
